In Search of Rainbow Pastures

Homelessness disproportionately affects the LGBTQ community, especially youth. 20 to 40 per cent of homeless youth identify as LGBTQ, yet most fear emergency shelters due to homophobia and transphobia. The City of London in southwestern Ontario reports 10% of their homeless population. The Unity Project for Relief of Homelessness is creating a more inclusive space to ensure that all feel welcome.
